All
software licenses from New Intelligence are one-time, paid-up licenses.
That is, a school or other user pays the license price one time, and then the
license is paid up for as long as the school uses the software.
There is no limit to the numbers of students that can use the
software installed on computers under any of the licenses from New
Intelligence, other than the logistics of access to the computer(s) on which
the software is installed.
An optional annual upgrade may be offered on selected software
titles, which can be paid at such time as an upgrade is available, if
desired –

New
Intelligence offers four types of software licenses, as follows:
1.
Building Site License – This license provides the lowest cost per
computer for a school with more than ten or twelve Windows-based PC
computers.
The Building Site License applies to all Windows-based computers
installed in a school building, and also to all Windows-based computers
acquired and installed in the school building in the future, making the
license very easy to manage.
If a computer is removed permanently from a building (as opposed to
being removed temporarily, such as for repairs) then the school must
un-install the software on that computer.
If a school includes multiple buildings that constitute a single
school campus, a Building Site License generally applies to the buildings on
the campus; if in doubt, check with New Intelligence at our toll free

2.
Ten Computer Lab Pack – This license applies to a group of up to
ten computers installed in a computer or learning lab, or in a classroom.
3.
Single User License -- This license allows the user to install the
software on a single computer system.
4.
Home / School Extension – A special license extension to Lab Pack
and Building Site Licenses is available that allows students to install New
Intelligence titles on a computer system in their home.
